Baylor University:

With more than 13,000 students, this nationally recognized academic institution offers 158 undergraduate degrees, 23 masters degrees and 15 doctoral degree programs.

McLennan Community College:

McLennan Community College offers more than 40 one- and two-year workforce education programs in Business, Human Services, and Health Sciences that are designed to meet the employment needs of McLennan County business and industry. In addition, the college offers a variety of courses leading to the A.A. or A.S. degree that easily transfer to bachelor's degree programs at 4-year colleges and universities. The University Center at MCC, a partnership between MCC, the University of Texas at Arlington, and Tarleton State University, brings affordable, convenient upper-level degree programs to Waco. The University Center now offers eight bachelor's degree programs, three master's degree programs, and a principal certification program, all taught on the MCC campus or through distance education.

 

Texas State Technical College:

For several years, T.S.T.C. Waco has produced more graduates earning associate degrees in engineering-related technologies than any other public two-year college in America.  T.S.T.C. is preparing a workforce to meet the demands of today's industries and businesses.
