McLennan Community
College:
McLennan Community College offers more than 40 one- and two-year
workforce education programs in Business, Human Services, and Health
Sciences that are designed to meet the employment needs of McLennan
County business and industry. In addition, the college offers a
variety of courses leading to the A.A. or A.S. degree that easily
transfer to bachelor's degree programs at 4-year colleges and universities.
The University Center at MCC, a partnership between MCC, the University
of Texas at Arlington, and Tarleton State University, brings affordable,
convenient upper-level degree programs to Waco. The University Center
now offers eight bachelor's degree programs, three master's degree
programs, and a principal certification program, all taught on the
MCC campus or through distance education.
